Newman on the story that Facebook sold ads during the U.S. presidential campaign to a Russian company seeking to target voters.  Mr. Newman’s quote in the article expressed that because the social network has a dominant position in the digital advertising space it should take preventative measures to police fake news and gauge the authenticity of advertisements on its platform.
